The January meeting of St. Wilfrid’s Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, no.209 is renowned for hosting an annual Burns night and this year was no exception with over 80 brethren dining at a wonderful convivial evening of celebration and fellowship.
It has also become the tradition in the Mark degree to use the gathering to announce the Wardens designate for the ensuing year.
On this occasion, the DPGM had the privilege to advise that W. Bros. Grant Taylor and Dean Chapman were to be invested as the SW and JW respectively, at the meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge on the 21st March.
Grant was advanced into Nene Lodge MMM no.427 (Sleaford) in 2008 and is the current DC of the Lodge.
Dean who is a member of Urania Lodge MMM, no.326 (Louth) was advanced on 2000 and is currently in Office as the Provincial Grand Swd. Br.
